Went with wife and my kid (10 year old). Let me talk about the pros: 1. Conveniently located at the main road and a restaurant next to it for breakfast / lunch / dinner. 2. Rooms are okay for 02 adults and a kid 3. Warm / hot water available 24 hours / day 4. Bed was clean Cons: 1. Parking is on the road (I am not a fan of this one) 2. Towels were not white (you could say cream / brown) 3. Room service is bad (asked for an extra towel, but never got it) 4. Not sure if it was just that night, but lot of people came in and occupied rooms around our room, so it was noisy and sudden bang / push against our door was hear time and again till we retired to bed. Overall stay - if you plan to spent very little time in the room, you can go for this. Ideally I did not have breakfast next to this place (other places in Mysuru are better for breakfast). I stayed only one night here, and my wife and kid preferred a different hotel for our stay in Mysuru for another day, so we checked out.

By Apr 14 to 15- 2023, we had good stay in the residency. We went and booked the room on the spot and luckily got a family room. Room looks so clean and nice ambience. Service is good and staff are so kind. Shivalli VEG restaurant located next to hotel, which provide nutritious and tasty foods. The National residency is located bit out skirt of city, so it's calm. Always a good choice for all kind of visitors as it has some standard.

Room service needs improvement. I had to call 4-5 times to get basic requests handled. People in reception doesn't really understand the urgency / importance of room service on need basis and provides standard answer which really irritates. I hope there is no adequate house keeping staff.
